Payment Terms

Last updated: June 2026

These Payment Terms (Shopping & Payment Terms) explain what the Association of Turks in Belgrade charges for, how payment works, which cards we accept, and in which currency. Please read them together with our Terms of Use and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. What You Pay For

The Association collects payments online through three channels:

  • Membership: Annual membership fees across several tiers.
  • Support: Voluntary one-time contributions.
  • Courses & events: Enrolment and registration fees for language courses, workshops, and cultural events.

2. No Physical Goods

The Association is a non-profit organization and does not sell any physical goods. We do not ship products. What you pay for is a membership, a voluntary contribution, or access to a service (a course, workshop, or event). How and when these are delivered is described in our Delivery of Services statement.

3. Prices & Currency

All prices are displayed and charged in Serbian dinars (RSD), which is the settlement currency of our payment provider. Where a euro (EUR) figure is shown next to a price, it is an approximate equivalent provided for convenience only — the amount actually charged is always in RSD.

Prices are shown clearly before you confirm payment. There are no hidden fees: the Association does not add any surcharge, processing fee, or commission on top of the displayed price.

4. Payment Method & Accepted Cards

Payments are made by bank card through the secure e-commerce gateway (NestPay) provided by Banca Intesa. We accept the following card brands:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard and Maestro
  • DinaCard
  • American Express

Every payment is protected by 3D Secure (Verified by Visa and Mastercard ID Check) and 256-bit SSL encryption.

5. Card Data Security

Your card details are entered on Banca Intesa's secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment page, not on our website. The Association never sees, collects, or stores your card number, expiry date, or security code.

When entering payment card data, confidential information is transmitted over a public network in a protected (encrypted) form using the SSL protocol and the PKI system, currently the most advanced cryptographic technology. Data security during purchases is guaranteed by the card processor, Banca Intesa ad Beograd, and the complete payment process takes place on the bank's pages. At no moment is your payment card data available to our system.

6. Currency Conversion

If your card is issued in a currency other than the Serbian dinar, your card issuer converts the amount to your card's currency at its own exchange rate on the day of the transaction. The Association applies no conversion mark-up. See our Currency Conversion statement for details.

7. Tax (VAT) Status

The Association of Turks in Belgrade is a non-profit association and is not a VAT payer. Membership fees and support contributions are not subject to VAT. Prices shown are the final amounts payable; no VAT is added at checkout.

8. Confirmation & Receipts

After a successful payment, a confirmation is sent automatically to the email address you provide. Please keep it for your records. If you do not receive a confirmation, contact us and we will assist.
