Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want every member, supporter, and participant to be satisfied. This policy sets out clear, fair conditions for refunds. Where a refund is approved, it is always returned to the original card through the Banca Intesa gateway.

In the event of a refund to a user who previously paid with one of the payment cards, partially or in full, and regardless of the reason for the return, the Association 'Turaka u Beogradu' is obliged to make the refund exclusively via the VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, Amex and DinaCard payment methods, which means that the bank will, upon request, refund the funds to the cardholder's account.

Support contributions are voluntary gifts to a registered non-profit and are generally non-refundable. However, we will refund a contribution in the following cases:

• Duplicate payment: You were charged more than once for the same intended contribution due to a technical error.
• Incorrect amount: Your card was charged an amount different from the amount you selected.
• Unauthorized transaction: A contribution was made from your card without your knowledge or consent.

You may cancel a new membership and request a full refund within 14 days of payment, provided you have not already made substantial use of member benefits (for example, claimed a member discount or attended a members-only event).

After this 14-day window, membership fees are non-refundable and are not pro-rated, as they fund the association's annual programme. Membership does not renew automatically; it simply expires after twelve months.

For paid courses, workshops, and ticketed events, our cancellation terms depend on when you notify us before the start date:

• 7 or more days before: Full refund of the registration fee.
• 3 to 6 days before: 50% refund of the registration fee.
• Less than 3 days before, or no-show: No refund, as places and materials are reserved in advance.
• If we cancel or reschedule: You receive a full refund, or you may transfer your place to the new date.

To request a refund, contact us within the applicable window and include:

• Your full name and the email address used for the payment
• The date, amount, and type of payment (membership, support, or course/event)
• A brief explanation of your request

We review every request and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original card through the Banca Intesa gateway and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
