We process your personal data only for clearly defined, legitimate purposes, each with a lawful basis under the GDPR:

  • Performing our agreement with you: To process your membership, support, or registration, issue confirmations and receipts, and provide the service you paid for.

  • Consent: To send you occasional updates about our activities, where you have agreed, and to use optional analytics cookies.
  • Legitimate interests: To secure our website, prevent fraud, and respond to your enquiries.

4. How We Store and Retain Data

Your data is stored on secure servers with access restricted to authorized personnel only. We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

5. Third-Party Processors

Online card payments are processed through the secure e-commerce payment gateway provided by Banca Intesa. When you pay, your card details are transmitted directly to and processed by Banca Intesa within their PCI-DSS compliant environment. We do not see, collect, or store your full card details at any point.

We may also use trusted providers for website hosting and email delivery. All processors are bound by contract to handle your data securely and only on our documented instructions.

6. Your Rights

In accordance with the GDPR and Serbian data protection law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time.

  • Rectification: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your data where there is no legal reason for us to keep it.
  • Portability: Receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Serbian Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.

On behalf of the Association 'Turaka u Beogradu' we undertake to protect the privacy of all our customers. We collect only the necessary, basic data about customers/users and the data necessary for our business operations and for informing users in accordance with good business practice and with the aim of providing a quality service. We give customers a choice, including the option to decide whether or not they wish to be removed from the mailing lists used for marketing campaigns. All data about users/customers is strictly kept safe and is available only to those employees for whom that data is necessary in order to perform their work. All employees of the Association 'Turaka u Beogradu' (and business partners) are responsible for respecting the principles of privacy protection.
